Information
A small pottery wall plaque featuring a couple performing the dramatic 'Apache' dance often seen in night clubs, cabaret and cinema in the 1920's and 30's. A rare subject and I can't imagine many were made. Hand painted with cellulose enamels and possibly an early Wade piece, it's in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Painted 'Apache' mark and dated 1932. Height 17.75cm (7in)
