Quality Shelley Art Deco 'Orange Potentilla' Shell Dish c1939

A fine bone china hand enamelled 'Orange Potentilla' shell shaped dish by Shelley, with hand painted orange trim and sprays of potentilla type flowers. In excellent condition with a good 'ring' to it; a difficult shape to find in good order. A striking piece of art deco; fine quality that made Shelley famous and collectable. Shelley Fine Bone China mark in green. Length 11.5cm (4.5in)
