A lovely cabinet plate with an unusual arabesque shaped rim. A central flower study reflecting the Japanese influence on the aesthetic movement has shot enamel colours in peach and pink lined and highlighted with raised gilding. Additional leaves and stems are also in raised gold. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Printed Doulton Burslem, England with shape registration number 97183. Indistinct artist's monogram near foot rim. Diameter 22.25cm (8.75in)
