A lovely Prattware pottery plate finely printed with a scene of two men puzzling over a game of draughts or checkers watched by a woman with a child in her arms. Printed title 'A Fix'. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Fine age related crazing really only noticed under close scrutiny and nothing to detract from this great example of early Victorian pottery. Printed PRATT 123 FENTON on the reverse. Diameter 21.5cm (8.5in)
