A superb Poole Pottery white earthenware jug (shape 310) decorated in the V or 'Leo the Lion' pattern designed by Truda (Adams) Carter and beautifully painted by Rene Hayes. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Impressed POOLE ENGLAND, incised shape 310, painted pattern reference V and decorator's mark for Rene Hayes. Height 15cm (5.9in)
