A lovely little red earthenware 989 shape Poole Pottery tankard in the PB 'Bluebird' pattern designed by Truda (Adams) Carter and expertly painted by Clarice Heath. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. An unusual piece, nice to find in such good order. Impressed POOLE ENGLAND with incised shape number 989 and painted pattern reference PB with decorator's mark for Clarice Heath. Height 9.5cm (3.75in)
