Pink Lustre 'Girl with Sheep' Porcelain Cup and Saucer c1830

A charming scene, transfer printed in puce with a girl and pet sheep in an exotic landscape ('Mary had a little lamb' was first published c1830 - a possible connection). Elegant 'London shape' cup and dished saucer, both with a broad band of pink lustre. Excellent condition, little sign of wear. Unmarked porcelain, probably Staffordshire. Diameter of saucer 14.25cm (5.6in)
