A fine pair of Sowerby purple malachite slag glass three handled vases. Lovely 'marbling' and colours. A classic Sowerby shape illustrated in their 1882 pattern book, shape 1261. In good antique condition - one is perfect and the other has a small nibble near the base, only really noticed on close inspection. Still a shape not seen that often and rare to find a pair in such good order. Sowerby peacock trademarks and diamond registrations to the interior bases. Height 7.5cm (2.95in)
