A superb pair of Royal Dux figures of a shepherd and shepherdess in Tyrolean style costume. The shepherd is holding his original wooden stick which slots into his hand and his dog is sitting at his feet. The shepherdess is carrying a large jug on her shoulders and there's a lamb sitting at her feet. Both figures are beautifully painted in green and pink shot enamels highlighted with brushed gilding. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Rare to find in such good order. 'Royal Dux (E) Bohemia' pink triangles with impressed model numbers 2261 and 2262. Maximum height 24.75cm (9.75in)
