A superb pair of large Intarsio vases designed by Walter Slater and decorated with scrolled Iznik style panels of art nouveau leaves and flowers. The square shape was also designed by Walter Slater for this second series of Intarsio wares and works beautifully with the colourful enamelled motifs. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Rare to find a large pair like this, especially in such good order. Printed Shelley Late Foley "Intarsio" marks with shape/pattern number 3696. Height 33.5cm (13.2in)
