A large and colourful pair of Royal Winton hand enamelled and lustred Saga shape vases. Art deco roses in orange, yellow, green, purple and red set against two tone leaves and panels of rich brown 'crazy paving' on a yellow mottled ground. The interior rims sponged with purple lustre. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Some mild age related crazing and gilt wear to the rims, but nothing to detract from the display value of these impressive vases. Rare to find a pair, especially in such good order. Circular Royal Winton Grimwades marks, impressed shape 'SAGA' and painted pattern numbers 2997. Height 24cm (9.5in)
