A lovely Secessionist plate painted with stylised wild roses and trailing thorny stems in shades of green, mauve-pink and yellow on a treacle glaze ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Fine age related crazing, typical of these wares, though nothing to detract from the display value of this classic art nouveau design. Faintly impressed MINTONS with date code for 1915. Diameter 22.75cm (9in)
