A superb Secessionist plate finely embossed with stylised thistles against ears of corn and a yellow sun. Hand painted in shades of green, turquoise and yellow on a cream ground. In good antique condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Fine age related crazing, typical of these soft glazed wares, though nothing to detract from the display value of this little gem. Impressed MINTONS with date code for 1904 and painted design number. Diameter 13cm (5.1in)
