A fine example of a Burtles, Tate and Company glass swan with good depth of bluish/gold opalescence. Produced around 1885 by this Manchester glassmaker, this is the medium size of their pressed glass swans and is in excellent condition, with crisp detail. Moulded registration number 20086 to base. Length 11.5cm (4.5in)
