A lovely Maling tray decorated with pink and mauve phlox on an aerographed blue ground. Finely painted colours with outlines overprinted in gold - a technique used on best wares. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Some mild crazing really only noticed on the reverse and nothing to detract. A real gem of a pattern, not seen very often. Printed Maling mark and painted pattern number 6273. Overall width 29.25cm (11.6in)
