A fine Maling octagonal plate decorated with a variation of the 'Plum and Orchard' pattern, first introduced around 1920. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Mild all over crazing, though nothing to detract from the display value of this lovely plate. Printed Maling mark with painted pattern number 3948 and impressed date for 1929. Width 22.25cm (8.75in)
