A seldom seen embossed Maling wall plaque hand painted with a garden path bordered by flowers and leading to a distant landscape of cypress trees. The rim has a striking border of pink and mauve anemones and dark green scrolls on a bright green basket weave. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Some minor glaze crazing typical of these wares, but nothing to detract. Printed Maling, Made in England and painted pattern number 6425. Diameter 28.5cm (11.25in)
