Maling supplied Ringtons with these superb tea caddies initially as part of a range to celebrate the 1929 North East Coast Industries Exhibition. This tallest of the caddies produced, was printed in a blue and white design depicting Ripon, Carlisle, Newcastle and Durham Cathedrals (on the lid), together with York Minster and Hexham and Selby Abbeys. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Special Ringtons and Maling backstamps to base and lid. Height 19.25cm (7.6in)
