A beautiful Wemyss Ware cabbage roses Gordon shape dessert plate painted by Joseph Nekola. Wonderful detail and bright colours. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. There is the usual micro-crazing of the glaze and some minor staining in a couple of places, though nothing to detract from the stunning display value of this lovely example. Painted 'Wemyss' inscription (in the style of Joseph Nekola). Diameter 20.25cm (8in)
