A lovely Staffordshire figure of a laundry girl carrying a basket on her head. One of the 'street scenes' series, popular in prints and figures of the time. Delicate colouring of pink, green and yellow, her bodice picked out with gold. In great condition, with the usual crazing, but no damage. Altogether a charming piece. Height 21cm (8.25in)
