A fine Shorter 'Medina' squat vase with double looped handle. Designed by Mabel Leigh who worked for Shorter briefly from c1933-35. Incised flowers and leaves hand enamelled in green, yellow and purple on a lovely pale blue washed ground. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Incised Medina by Mabel Leigh and printed Shorter England mark. Width 15.2cm (6in)
