A fine Cleveland cream jug showing a gaffer with a basket and walking stick. Printed 'Gaffers' on the reverse. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Fine glaze crazing typical of these wares, but nothing to detract. A superb display item and a rare shape to find, especially in such good order. Signed Noke. Special Royal Doulton Gaffers mark and painted D4210. Overall length 11.5cm (4.5in) spout to handle.
