Lovely Royal Doulton Art Nouveau 'Poppies B' Series Ware Rack Plate D3225 c1910 (Sold)

A rare Royal Doulton art nouveau 'Poppies' series B twelve sided dessert plate, slightly smaller than the usual rack plates. A good example of the block printing technique favoured by Doulton for their floral series wares. Lovely shades of pink and green add to this classic art nouveau design. In excellent condition, with only a small amount of crazing (barely noticeable) and a few minor original production imperfections typical of this type of ware. All in all a fine piece that displays beautifully. Printed Royal Doulton with pattern number D3225 and impressed date for 1910. Diameter 21cm (8.25in)
