Leeds Pottery 'Italian Scenery' Octagonal Meat Platter c1820

A lovely meat platter with 'combed' back, the pattern attributed to the Leeds Pottery by Little from one or two marked examples. A fine print depicting travellers on a winding road with a large bridge, Italian villas and mountains in the distance. All framed by a border of oak leaves, passion flowers, roses and convolvulus. In excellent condition, showing little signs of wear or use. Width 33cm (13in)
