Information
A large one pint Prattware mug with two rural scenes set in panels on a turquoise green ground. One scene 'The Torrent' with women and cattle by a river, the other 'The Travellers' Departure' with two riders and dogs. The inside has a repeat pattern border and the rim, base and handle are finished in best gold. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. The gilding is intact and there is only a tiny scratch to the green, barely noticed (above the cartouche, see image 1). Rare to find in such good order. Height 10.25cm (4in), diameter 9.5cm (3.75in)
