A large and impressive Royal Dux figure of a hunter in a neo-classical tunic with his bow and sheath of arrows slung over his back and holding a dead bird at his side. Designed by chief modeller Alois Hampel who was responsible for much of the style and success of the factory's output in the art nouveau period. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. 'AH' monogram inscribed on the reverse. 'Royal Dux (E) Bohemia' pink triangle, printed 'Made in Czechoslovakia' and impressed model number 2122. Height 39.5cm (15.5in)
