A superb 'Pansies' octagon cake plate - a classic art deco shape which shows the design to full effect. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Rare to find in such good order. Printed Royal Doulton mark with registration no. 597783, painted pattern reference D4049 and impressed date for December 1934. Width with handles 25.5cm (10in)
