A lovely deep salad bowl with a gaffer standing at the bottom of his cottage steps. The outside with a stile and stone walls with Noke signature. Beautifully painted and in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or restoration; shows the usual glaze crazing typical of these wares, though nothing to detract. Special Royal Doulton Gaffers backstamp. Diameter 20.3cm (8in), height 8.9cm (3.5in)
