Large Royal Doulton 'Bluebell Gatherers' Leeds Fruit Bowl D3812 c1915

A lovely Royal Doulton large Leeds bowl from the 'Bluebell Gatherers' series introduced in 1914. One of twelve known scenes it depicts a woman collecting bluebells with a child on the ground beside her. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Rare to find this large size Leeds bowl, especially in this early series and in such good order. Royal Doulton backstamp with painted series reference D3812. Diameter 24cm (9.45in)
