A lovely Royal Doulton bone china cylindrical vase richly decorated with irises and lots of sponged gilding, the base with a band of gold flowers on a deep cobalt blue ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Showing little signs of wear, the gilding is particularly good. A rare shape to find, especially in such good order. Printed green 'Royal Doulton, England' mark and incised shape number 1092. Height 23.5cm (9.25in)
