A large Royal Doulton Dickens Ware 'A' Series Lygon shape jug. Designed by Charles Noke and depicting Alfred Jingle from 'Pickwick Papers'. In great condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Slight glaze rub to handle, but nothing serious to detract. A fine example of this very collectable series. Royal Doulton backstamp with special Dickens Ware mark and painted pattern number D5175. Height 22cm (8.7in)
