Large Poole Pottery CS Pattern Vase by Truda Carter c1937 (Sold)

A large and impressive Poole Pottery white earthenware vase (shape 154) decorated in the CS pattern designed by Truda (Adams) Carter and expertly painted by Myrtle Bond. In great condition; no cracks or restoration and with only a glaze chip to the foot rim (see image 5) which doesn't show on display and really doesn't detract from this stunning piece. Impressed POOLE ENGLAND, incised shape 154, painted pattern reference CS and decorator's mark for Myrtle Bond. Height 25.5cm (10in)
