A large Grimwade's Bruce Bairnsfather wall plaque depicting his World War 1 Old Bill cartoon 'I Likes Me Drop O Rum'. Framed by a border featuring biplanes, exploding shells and trench debris. Printed in sepia with Bruce Bairnsfather signature. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Some crazing typical of these wares, but nothing to detract. Printed Grimwades A Memento of the Great War mark. Pierced foot rim for hanging. Diameter 25cm (9.9in)
