A fine dished plate, beautifully painted in 'Rhodanthe'. The sinuous pattern of 'etched' marigold flowers works well on this large display shape. The colours are bright and thickly applied with no flaking or oxidisation. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration and showing only minimum signs of wear. A classic art deco Clarice Cliff pattern, becoming harder to find, especially in such good order. Lithograph 'Clarice Cliff, Wilkinson Ltd' signature and impressed date for 1936. Diameter 23cm (9in)
