Large Charlotte Rhead Crown Ducal 'Lotus Leaves' Wall Plate c1932 - Pattern 2682

An early Crown Ducal tube lined wall plate designed by Charlotte Rhead in the seldom seen 'Lotus Leaves' pattern, produced briefly in 1932/3. Having a dinner plate type rim it's an unusual shape to find in the larger size and it certainly shows this dynamic design to full effect. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. A beautiful example. Signed in dark grey enamel 'C Rhead', tube-liner/decorator's mark for Rose Dickenson and printed Crown Ducal mark. Diameter 31cm (12.2in)
