An unusual Carlton Ware green 'Fruit Basket' dish from the art deco period. Great depth of colour with vividly painted fruit and a crisply modelled shape. In excellent condition, though there is general crazing typical of these wares which doesn't detract. A fine example of old Carlton Ware. Script 'Carlton Ware, Made in England, Trademark Registered' backstamp. Length 25.5cm (10in)
