Large Carlton Ware Green 'Flowers and Basket' Posy Holder c1939

This basket shaped posy holder with handle is the rare larger of two sizes made. Good colours nicely painted on a green ground. Difficult to find without damage, this one is in excellent condition. Carlton Ware at its prettiest and best. Height 13cm (5.12in). Full Carlton Ware script mark and impressed shape number 1776.
