Large and Impressive Royal Doulton 'Coaching Days' Shape 7992 Vase by Victor Venner c1932

A large Royal Doulton 7992 vase from the coaching days series, depicting a man opening a gate for the coach with girl watching and the coach horn sounding. Coach with red door and trim. Designed by the illustrator and cartoonist Victor Venner (fl.1904-24). Series number D4891. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Minor wear to green trim round the rim and slight age related crazing. Nothing to detract from this rare impressive vase. Lion, crown and circle Royal Doulton mark and incised shape number. Height 17.5cm (7in)
