A superb majolica 'pineapple' tall comport, crisply modelled with bright yellow, green and treacle glazes. The reverse has a lovely mottled 'tortoiseshell' finish. In excellent condition throughout; no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. A large piece which displays exceptionally well. Always a very collectable design and rare to find in such good order. Unmarked though attributed to Adams and Bromley. Diameter 24.5cm (9.6in), height 13cm (5.12in)
