Hand Painted Pink Lustre Porcelain Milk Jug c1825

 A lovely cream jug handpainted in pink lustre with strawberries in 'crazy paving' panels. Each strawberry base touched with green enamel. A stunning piece, the lustre is in great condition, even to the handle which usually takes most wear. One small fault is a glaze fracture where the handle joins the rim on the outside (just visible in image 2), but this does not go through at all.  No stains, chips or repairs. Unmarked, probably Sunderland. Height 9.5cm (3.75in), length 15cm (5.9in)
