A lovely Rubens Ware biscuit barrel with silver plated fittings designed by F. X. Abraham. Richly painted with pomegranates on a deep blue and purple background. In great condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. The silver plate shows signs of age related wear, but still looks good and gives antique character to this rare item. Hancock's Rubens Ware backstamp and F. X. Abraham des. mark.
