A lovely Hancock and Sons Morris Ware C8-6 goblet shaped vase designed by George Cartlidge. Tube lined with peony type flowers in shades of purple and blue on a dark olive green ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Printed Morris Ware mark with Geo. Cartlidge signature, incised C8 and painted design reference C8-6. Height 16.5cm (6.5in)
