Information
A fantastic Hancock and Sons Morris Ware C7-29 vase designed by George Cartlidge. Tube lined with tulips in shades of cerise, green and ochre on a lovely sky blue ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Some minor age related crazing typical of these wares, really only noticed on close inspection and nothing to detract from the display value of this beautiful vase. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Printed Morris Ware mark with Geo. Cartlidge signature and painted design reference C7-29. Height 19.5cm (7.7in)

More examples of the C7 range are illustrated on page 91 of Tony Johnson's 'The Morris Ware, Tiles & Art of George Cartlidge' and another colourway can be seen here in the Victoria and Albert Museum collection.
