A lovely little Hancock and Sons Morris Ware C5-12 posy bowl designed by George Cartlidge. Tube lined with roses, buds and leaves in shades of purple and blue on a shaded ochre to dark green ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. A rare item to find, especially in such good order. Printed Morris Ware mark with Geo. Cartlidge signature and painted design reference C5-12. Height 5cm (2in), diameter 13cm (5.1in)
