A superb Hancock and Sons Morris Ware C19-13 bowl designed by George Cartlidge. Tube lined with flowers and leaves in shades of violet and olive on a dark sea green ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Only point to mention is a small indentation inside the rim, done during manufacture and not really noticed except under close examination. Nothing to detract from the display value of this large and beautiful bowl. Printed Morris Ware mark with Geo. Cartlidge signature and painted design reference C19-13. Diameter 28cm (11in)
