A large and impressive Hancock's Morris Ware C11-1 vase designed by George Cartlidge. Finely tube lined art nouveau chrysanthemums in shades of purple on a mottled deep blue and ochre ground. The unusual shape works beautifully with this lovely design. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Printed Morris Ware mark with Geo. Cartlidge signature and incised/painted design reference C11-1. Height 26cm (10.25in)
