Hancock's Corona Ware 'Water Lily' Plate by Molly Hancock c1928

A lovely Hancock's 'Water Lily' plate designed by Molly Hancock with vibrant hand painted leaves and flowers on a deep blue background. In great condition - no chips, cracks or restoration (only point to mention is a tiny spot of orange enamel missing from one leaf, but this is probably part of manufacture and doesn't detract - see image 3). A fine item that shows the design to beautiful effect. A classic Molly Hancock design, not seen that often, especially in such good order. 'Hancock and Son, Corona Ware, Water Lily' mark with 'Molly Hancock' signature. Diameter 22.75cm (8.9in)
