Grimwades Royal Winton 'Lakeland' Art Deco Tree Vase c1936

A lovely art deco vase by Royal Winton in the form of an embossed tree trunk with four apertures for flower arranging. Produced for the Lakeland range with hand painted flowers extending upwards from the base in enamelled colours of blue, mauve and rose pink as a butterfly hovers above them, creating a stunning effect. In excellent condition, showing little sign of wear and no damage or restoration. Early circular 'Royal Winton, Grimwades' mark with 'Lakeland' and registration number. Height 17.75cm (7in)
