A finely potted indented soup plate in the very collectable 'Grazing Rabbits' pattern. Printed in medium blue with a rural scene of three rabbits under a tree in the foreground and cottages in the background. Framed by a distinctive border of leaves and flowers on a stippled ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear or use. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Lovely blue rippled glaze and no foot rim. Maker unknown - impressed 'O' and faint blue 'mars' potter's mark. Diameter 24.5cm (9.6in)
