Gray's Pottery Art Deco Hand Painted 'Hampton' Floral Wall Plate c1930 #1 (Sold)

A striking wall plate produced by Gray's and boldly painted with art deco flowers in blue, orange and yellow. Given the name 'Hampton' and sold by Harrod's in the early 1930s.  In great condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Some mild crazing, noticed on the reverse, but nothing to detract. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Gray's Pottery, Hanley 'Clipper' mark, painted pattern number 9061 and stamped HAMPTON. Diameter 27cm (10.6in)
